The faith of the leadership of the Ministry of Education in teachers was confirmed in his message on the occasion of today’s World Teachers’ Day by the Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, Kyriakos Pierrakakis.
“October 5th is dedicated to the people who shape the future more than anyone else every day,” said Mr. Pierrakakis.
The minister referred to the strengthening of schools with teaching staff and the renewal of school programs and emphasized that “the school of the future passes through the dedication, talent and love of our teachers”.

“October 5th is dedicated to the people who shape the future more than anyone else every day. Teachers pass on knowledge and values to our children so that they become responsible and useful citizens.
At the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports we believe in our teachers and through our strategy we seek to be our allies in the field, teaching but also inspiring by their example. The school of the future passes through the dedication, talent and love of our teachers.
That’s why we’re strengthening the teaching force with 10,000 permanent appointments, we’re upgrading the school programs by adapting them to modern needs, and we’re strengthening the teacher-student relationship, which is the core of the educational process, with a tool.”
