Zeuxis qualifies for the Universal Championship

MEXICO CITY, October 6 (EL UNIVERSAL).- Asserting her title of Women’s World Champion of the World Wrestling Council (CMLL), Zeuxis obtained the pass to the grand final to compete in the Amazonas Universal Championship.

The so-called “Puerto Rican Power” beat ten high-caliber Amazonas in the tournament held this Friday at the Arena México.

In the final duel, the current Champion, La Catalina, faced Zeuxis, repeating last year’s final duel in which the Chilean defeated the “borimex”.

That is why this fight was important for Zeuxis, who wanted to get rid of the pain of having lost the CMLL’s highest honorary award to the South American.

After several minutes of intense combat in which both Amazons brought out the best of their repertoire, Zeuxis surprised La Catalina with a Spanish Fly, leaving her on her back flat, so the referee La Vaquerita counted the three claps declaring the victory of the Puerto Rican.

The first Amazonas fight resulted in the victory of Sanely, Hera and Perséphone against Tessa Blanchard, Lluvia and Kira, which marks the preamble to the second eliminatory for the Amazonas Universal Championship.
