Three days after the disappointing 2-2 draw in the Conference League against Djurgarden, LASK impressed against Klagenfurt. For the fifth time in a row, the athletes remained unbeaten and thus extended their winning streak against the Carinthians: the 22nd competitive duel was not lost either.
At LASK, Maximilian Entrup and Florian Flecker were in the starting line-up for the first time since their injuries, and both scored points: Flecker’s header into the free space in the penalty area became an assist because Robert Zulj shot from the turn and surprised goalkeeper Simon Spari – 1 :0 (26th). At 2-0, Branko Jovicic’s pass from the outside of his foot into Entrup’s run became an assist. The ÖFB team striker scored from a tight angle (56th).

Two assists from Pintor
The Klagenfurt team scored the 3-0 themselves: Jannik Robatsch overtook Spari’s own goal when he ran into a cross from substitute Lenny Pintor (70th). The Frenchman was back on the ball for the first time after an injury break – and also made it 4-0. Ibrahim Mustapha scored (90th) – it was his first goal after a long injury break.
LASK were confident for long periods – with a shocking moment when ex-Blue-White-Linz midfielder Tobias Koch hit the crossbar with his head (49′). With the victory, the athletes climbed to ninth place. The gap to sixth place Hartberg is two points.
