Joan Aguiló in Patras for ArtWalk 9!

Joan Aguiló in Patras for ArtWalk 9!

It is with great pleasure that we present to you Joan Aguiló, the fifth artist for ArtWalk 9!

Joan Aguiló came to Patras and left his mark with an amazing mural at 9 Vermiou Street.

Joan Aguiló’s work is deeply inspired by his island roots – Mallorca – lending a unique blend of personal history and local identity to his vibrant murals.

His artistic journey is shaped by childhood memories of summers by the sea, family meals and building treehouses.

These experiences have left an indelible mark on his art, where the beauty of everyday life and human connection comes to life on public walls. After studying art in Palma, Barcelona and Mexico, he discovered street art as the perfect medium to channel his love of community and place into a form he could share with the world.

His murals reflect the daily lives and stories of the people he encounters, creating works that resonate with the communities they belong to and the spaces they transform. Through his work, Joan Aguiló captures the essence of public art by making it personal, local and accessible. His murals are not only visually impressive but also reflect the cultural and social environment in which they reside.

Joan Aguiló has completed his mural! Stay tuned for the final project and all the wonderful things to come!
