Exit polls predicted a clear majority for the Congress in Haryana and a clear majority for India in Jammu and Kashmir. According to Dhruv Research, the Congress party has 50-64 seats in Haryana’s 90-member assembly.
Republic Bharat–Matris is expected to get 55–62 seats, People’s Pulse is expected to get 55–62 seats, and Dainik Bhaskar is expected to get 44–54 seats. The BJP is expected to win up to 32 seats. The BJP has ruled Haryana for a decade.

In Jammu and Kashmir, India Today – C Voters, 35-40 seats News24 – Chanakya and Dainik Bhaskar and Axis My India predict that the Union of India will have 35-45 seats in Jammu and Kashmir.

The National Conference will be the largest single party. Multiple polls show the BJP has 27 seats in the 90-member parliament.
The turnout in the single-phase elections to the 90-member Assembly in Haryana on Saturday was 63%. The vote count in both places was eight.
