A few days before the start of the 2024-2025 season, the NBA unveils its back-to-school campaign “The Tip-Off”
In the spot below, don’t look for the “aging stars” of the NBA that are LeBron James and Steph Curry.
The spot features Bam Adebayo, Luka Dončić, Anthony Edwards, Kawhi Leonard, Jayson Tatum and Victor Wembanyama. Players who share the spotlight with Kelly Rowland, Kai Cenat, Drew Afualo or even the Denver Nuggets mascot, as if to recall the lifestyle scope of the North American league.
A spot that will speak to supporters of Olympique de Marseille and fans of football in France since the soundtrack uses the famous “Jump” the Van Halenthe players’ entrance music to the Orange Vélodrome.
To launch this new season, the NBA is staging the “jump ball” as well as the excitement of the supporters. A clip that also promotes NBA merchandising as a whole.
