It’s been more than a week since Palworld, the famous game that took off at the beginning of 2024, arrived on PS5. The title was officially released on September 24th, but Japan was left out of it, due to an open lawsuit by the Pokémon Company against Pocketpair, developer of the new game, according to rumors.
The process was initiated on September 19th and continues to run in Japanese courts. According to Nintendo, the Palworld company violated its patents that are part of Pokémon. Despite the accusation, Pocketpair did not back down and said it was not aware of the patents, saying that the Japanese giant was trying to intimidate them.
Now, the game is now available for the Japanese public to play and this has been confirmed by the developer itself. It was also not explained why the game would have been delayed by almost two weeks before being released in Japan. In total, there are now 68 countries that have survival with little creatures similar to Pokémon.
