According to the online live traffic report, it is only in specific sections that there is some vehicle congestion at the 9:30 a.m. cutoff, as in the case of Francisco I. Madero Avenue.

Within the municipality of Apodaca, the highway to Laredo is the only road where slow traffic was reported in the northbound lanes.

During the day, families from New Leon took the opportunity to enjoy the holiday with different outdoor activities.

Between noon and afternoon, heavy to moderate traffic load was recorded in both directions of Miguel Alemán Avenue, at Linda Vista Avenue, and one more point of heavy traffic on Las Américas Avenue.

Congestion also occurred in Gonzalitos heading south, from Paseo de los Leones Avenue to Francisco I. Madero.

The holiday on October 1 happened due to the inauguration of Claudia Sheinbaum as president of Mexico.

Starting this year, the Congress of the Union approved that this date every six years be established as an official holiday, due to the change of command in the Federal Executive Branch.
