The new educational platform will invite you to acquire knowledge about mobilization and civil resistance

It will work online at mobilizacijosmokykla.lt. After completing the training, participants can test the acquired knowledge and receive a certificate that they have completed the course.

As Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas said at the event, this platform will provide knowledge that will help the public better know their place in crisis situations.

“Preparation for mobilization takes place in peacetime. (…) Judging by the communication that is available on social networks, people are very lacking in basic knowledge: some of them simply do not have them or they were acquired a long time ago, they are forgotten, so they need to be updated. Here will be the opportunity to test your knowledge and update it,” the minister said at the event on Monday in Vilnius.

Virginijus Vitalijus Vilkelis, director of the Department of Mobilization and Civil Resistance, told reporters that civil resistance “can be active, passive, armed, unarmed.”

“The point is not in that, not in the action, but in the development of skills and will.” We call this preparedness civil resistance. Because the resistance itself should grow like mushrooms after the rain, not only without our knowledge, but also without the opponent’s knowledge,” said VVVilkelis.

In the platform, courses and tests are divided into three groups: preparation for mobilization, civil resistance, arrival of allies.

“So that you don’t have to remember passwords, login is by phone. (…) Each training consists of three parts: educational material, knowledge verification test, certificate”, said Aistė Kumponaitė, director of the company “Talentator”, which created the platform.

According to her, when solving tasks and answering incorrectly, information is provided on where and why the mistake was made.

“Even through wrong answers, it is possible to provide additional information to a person,” said A. Kumponaitė.

The training platform “Mobilization School” is one of the 40 measures included in the 2023-2025 implementation plan for the strategy of preparing citizens for civil resistance.
