Formula 1 driver Mick Schumacher has found love in Danish model Laila Hasanovic.
An Instagram post has led many to believe that the couple are now engaged.
On the platform, Hasanovic posted a picture of a ring with the text “then the game was over”. However, Mick has kept a low profile outwardly.
Recently, Mick’s father, F1 legend Michael Schumacher, made his first public appearance in 11 years since a life-changing skiing accident in 2013.
According to The Mirror, the 55-year-old was present for his daughter Gina-Marie’s wedding in Mallorca.
But it was not obvious that everyone would be allowed to participate.
First to meet the father
The Schumacher family has been extremely secretive about Michael’s state of health and, for example, did not allow mobile phones at the wedding.
Mrs. Corinna has only allowed a select few friends and relatives to meet Michael since the accident.
The Daily Express reports that the family held a vote on whether to introduce the son’s potential fiancee to his future father-in-law.
Hasanovic is supposed to be the first girlfriend that Mick brought home to meet his father.
And the vote seems to have gone the way of the Danish model. She is now considered part of the inner circle.
Mick Schumacher drove for Haas between 2021–2022. He is now a reserve driver for Mercedes. Father Michael won seven World Championship titles, five of them during his time at Ferrari.
