18 athletes will present special exams this Saturday, in order to change belts in karate do, traditional style. The event will take place in Barcelona, ​​capital of the Anzoátegui state.

Richard Chacín, representative of the association that governs the discipline in the eastern entity, reported that this checkup will be carried out in the vertical gymnasium in the Las Casitas sector.

“In this test, which serves to determine the level of knowledge that the boys have about the different techniques, karatekas from the Senséi Omar Aguache and Boyacá academies will participate. The practitioners of this discipline, of Japanese origin, want to advance in grade, with the in order to be better prepared to participate in future events,” explained coach Chacín, who is in charge of instructing the fighters at the Boyacá Dojo.

“The students will take lower category tests, in which they will try to earn the right to change from white to orange ribbon. After being evaluated by the instructors, everyone will enjoy a sharing that will be launched with the aim of encouraging brotherhood among karatekas,” he added.

Chacín said that on October 18 another similar day will take place at the multi-sports venue of Las Casitas and that the list that will make up the Anzoatiguense team that will attend a National Championship in Caracas, Capital District will soon be announced.

He revealed that some of the traditional karate do practitioners, who will appear for the evaluation on October 5, 2024, will be Sebastián Rodríguez (Boyacá), Preysler Sánchez (Boyacá), Samuel Mariño (Boyacá), Santiago Maita (Boyacá), Daniel Lozada (Boyacá), Juan Guzmán (Boyacá), María Rodríguez (Boyacá), Abdiel Carreño (Boyacá), Jesús Demera (Boyacá), Déborah Zacarías (Boyacá), Bárbara González (Boyacá), Kimberly Cherema (Boyacá), Jesús García (Boyacá), Adrián Chacín (Omar Aguache) and José Barreto (Omar Aguache).
