HOUSTON – State authorities just issued a Blue Alert in the early morning in search of Seth Altman, a 33-year-old man, accused of being involved in the shooting of an officer in Memphis, Hall County in Texas.
Altman, described as a man 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds, and with blue eyes, was last seen around 11 p.m. Thursday on South 4th Street in Memphis, a small city in the county. of Hall, located about 80 miles southeast of Amarillo. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans of the same color.

The authorities have described Altman as “armed and dangerous” and ask the population not to try to approach him. Instead, anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
The injured officer was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Amarillo after being shot several times. His health status has not yet been publicly revealed.
