Armored ghetto on the occasion of October 5th. After the ban issued by the Rome Police Headquarters, the pro-Palestinian groups do not stop and the weekend in the capital could become at risk. In addition to the demonstrations, in fact, attention is focused on all sensitive places already subject to scrupulous surveillance.

Not only the Ghetto, therefore, also Israeli interests in the capital will be under observation, as will the offices of diplomatic representations and those of companies operating in Italy based in Rome. In the area of ​​the Tempio Maggiore the attention has already been maximum for a year now and for the occasion, all the entities involved in security were asked for a further commitment following the denigratory campaign against all the Jewish communities in Italy. Between mobile and fixed patrols, the entrances to the historic Roman neighborhood will be under observation to avoid the risk of any action, even if only demonstrative. The risk, in fact, does not only come from unauthorized demonstrations which could create public order problems in the areas where pro-Palestine groups will concentrate, violating the ban. But it also extends to all those sensitive objectives that could be the object of attention by individuals or small groups, especially after the publication of the lists of “Zionist agents”.

For days, in fact, the information activities of the police have intensified due to the “Jew hunt” launched by those who intend to oppose the Rome Police Headquarters’ ban on demonstrating against Israel. «On October 5th everyone in Rome. We respond to the police state with mass mobilization”, is one of the slogans circulating online together with the invitation to reach the capital from any part of Italy by one’s own means or buses.

One of the meeting points for demonstrating, at least from what has been published online, is Piramide, where the organizers have arranged for participants to meet to support “the legitimate claim of liberation of all historical Palestine, from the river to the sea”.
