With specific guidelines aimed at the consolidation of the communes in the Mérida entity, this Monday, October 1, the new secretaries, directors and commissioners of the Government of the state of Mérida were sworn into their positions.

The new appointments are:

-Secretary for Economic and Productive Development: José Gregorio Martínez.

-Sector Secretary for Education, Culture and Sports: Liliana Contreras.

– Territorial Secretary of the Pan American Axis: Gabriel Madera.

-Territorial Secretary of the Metropolitan Axis: Luis Martínez.

-Commander of the Mérida State Fire Department: Colonel (B) Luis Zerpa.

-State Director of the Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture: Leonardo Pirela.

-Director of the Single Police Communication System of the State of Mérida: Daniel Alarcón.

-President of FONDES: Pedro Pineda.

– Director of the Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz Hospital: Manuel Maldonado.

– Director of the General Hospital H. Ch.F. from El Vigía: Freddy Zambrano.

-Assistant to the Governor: Hardy Hernández and Alejandro Dávila.

-Director of the Carlos Maya Sports Complex of El Vigía: Víctor Paredes.

-Commissioner for Advice on the Exercise of Community Organization and Comptrollership: Brígido Pérez.

-General Manager of ESASA: Desiree Jaramillo.

-State Commissioner for Technical Support and Development of Communal Power Projects: Omar Sánchez.
