The Ministry of Health and Access to Care, in close collaboration with key players in the ecosystem, presented this Monday, September 30, the national strategy for the secondary use of health data, based on four pillars.
This event brought together the Digital Health Delegation (DNS), the Directorate of Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics (DREES), the General Directorate of Research and Innovation (DGRI), the Health Data Platform, the National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM), the General Directorate for Healthcare Supply (DGOS), the General Directorate for Business (DGE) and the Health Innovation Agency (AIS) ) who presented their challenges and the 4 axes of the strategy:
Promote transparency and citizen trust ; Build databases designed for reuse ; Promote efficient provision of health data ; Simplify their use.
Launch of the public consultation on the secondary use of health data with Claude GISSOT (DREES, Carole DUFOUIL (DGRI), Stéphanie COMBES (PDS), Damien VERGE (CNAM) Yann-maël LE DOUARIN (DGOS), Annaëlle PARIS (DGE ), Benoit LABARTHE (AIS), Hela GHARIANI (DNS) and Aymeric PERCHANT (DNS).
Several witnesses from the ecosystem presented their issues:
– Monique Sorrentino and Vincent Vuiblet for the Data Commission of the conference of general directors of university hospital centers (CHU).
– Mariuca de Hillerin, Lifen for the France Biotech Data task force.
– Frederic collet et Marco Fiorini pour la Artificial Intelligence & Cancers sector.
– Robert Barouki for the Institute for Public Health Research (IReSP).
– Caroline Guillot (Health Data Hub) and Jean-François Thebaut (French Federation of Diabetics) for patient issues;
