Boris Johnson reveals a dangerous secret that Britain kept from Benjamin Netanyahu

Johnson claimed in his autobiography that when the Israeli Prime Minister visited his government headquarters in 2017, his security team found listening devices in the toilets after he used the facilities.

Johnson said that during their meeting in his old office, Netanyahu excused himself to go to the bathroom, and he mentioned in his book “Unleashed”: “Bibi (Netanyahu) was there for a while, and that may or may not have been a coincidence, but I was informed that later when they were wiping A regular eavesdropper, they found a listening device in the bathroom box.”

When asked during an interview with the Telegraph whether he could provide any further details about what happened, Johnson said: “I think everything you need to know about this is in the book.”

It is not yet clear whether Israel was questioned or reprimanded over the incident. At approximately the same time, Israel was accused of planting eavesdropping devices in the White House.

According to US officials, Washington concluded that Israel was likely behind the placement of cell phone surveillance devices found near the White House and other sensitive locations around the capital.

Although he never worked for the Israeli spy agency Mossad, it is known that Netanyahu worked closely with them. As the second-largest spy agency in the Western world after the CIA, it focuses on foreign intelligence collection and covert operations.
