Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James said the opportunity to play with his eldest son, Bronny, in the NBA, made him even more excited.
James will be appearing in his 22nd season in the NBA and will make history if he plays alongside Bronny, 19, who was selected by the Lakers at No. 55 in the NBA Draft last June.
The 39-year-old basketball player will appear next season after leading the United States (US) national team to win a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

James admitted that he had additional motivation to appear next season because he would be playing with his son.
“It’s a great feeling and a joy to go to work every day, practice with your child and watch him grow,” James said.
“We push each other. He pushes me and I push him. We push our teammates and vice versa.”

“Therefore, it will not only be a joyous moment for me but also my family. The possibility of playing with my son makes me very excited,” he continued.
James, who turns 40 in December, also spoke about how playing alongside Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry at the Olympics has made him even more excited.
“When you are with 11 players who are incredibly great, one of the best ever, it makes you even more excited and try to perform at the highest level,” said James.
“For me, still playing at my age, I feel I can still give a lot of things to help this team,” he emphasized.
The new NBA season will start on October 22 with the Lakers facing the Minnesota Timberwolves. (Z-1)
