New export markets: Paraguay expands its international presence in August through 6 products

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Investment and Export Network (Rediex) reported on the new export markets that Paraguay conquered in August 2024, consolidating its growth on the international scene with key products from the agricultural and manufacturing industry.

One of the highlights was the export of used cooking oil to Colombiawith a value of USD 58,995, marking progress in the trade of recyclable and sustainable products.

In addition, Latvia became a new destination for paraguayan peanutsfor a value of USD 74,428, highlighting the quality of the country’s agro-export sector.

In the field of vegetable oils, Paraguay managed to consolidate its leadership in the production and export of products derived from soybeans by expanding the export of soybean oil to the Dominican Republicin a contract valued at USD 415,990.

On the other hand, our country strengthened trade relations with Argentinadiversifying Paraguayan products in strategic markets. In the industrial sector, the neighboring country received genamina chemical used in personal care products, for a total of USD 81,819, as well as steel billets por USD 107.200.

Finally, the meat sector also registered progress with the export of salted bovine tripe to Boliviareaching a value of USD 90,662, underlining the potential of Paraguayan meat products in the region.

With these new markets, Paraguay reinforces its position as a key player in the export of agricultural, industrial and consumer products, under the vision of sustainable economic growth promoted by the government.
