A few Muslim organizations in Bangladesh, outraged by India’s propaganda based on fabricated stories of atrocities against Bangladeshi Hindus, have declared that holidays should not be declared on the occasion of Durga Puja and that no one should be allowed to carry idols into the sea. Permission will not be given.
A protest demonstration was also held by some Muslim organizations in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, whose participants demanded that the baseless Indian propaganda of atrocities on Bangladeshi Hindus should be stopped. He said that if Hindus want to perform Durga Puja, they should do it while staying within four walls. No one will be allowed to worship in the official playground.
Muslim organizations of Bangladesh say that Muslims are being discriminated against in India. Their basic rights are being usurped, mosques are being demolished, they are being converted into temples, but despite this, the Indian leadership is propagating that Hindus are not safe in Bangladesh and are extremely cruel to them. Insulting behavior is being tolerated.
It should be noted that after the end of Awami League’s power on August 5 and the resignation of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her departure to India, there was a strong protest against those who had done good to Awami League in power.
