Lady Gaga collaborated with her fiancé Michael Polanksy for the first time on the album accompanying her film “Joker: Folie à Deux”. The singer raves highly about her “best friend”. Working with him changes everything.
Lady Gaga (38) raves highly about her partner Michael Polansky (46). “I just love my fiancé so much,” she told People. In an interview with the celebrity magazine, she described the entrepreneur as her “best friend”. “He’s my partner, and I feel like when you’re with your best friend, everything changes,” she said at the premiere of her film “Joker: Folie à Deux” in Los Angeles.
At the side of Joaquin Phoenix (49), Lady Gaga plays a music therapist who experiences the eponymous madness together with the title character. Parallel to “Joker: Folie à Deux”, the singer has released a new LP. “Harlequin” is the name of the “companion album” to the film.
“It just felt right”
Lady Gaga collaborated with her fiancé for the first time on “Harlequin”. Michael Polanksy serves as executive co-producer on the album. “It’s just the first time we decided to just do it,” she told People about working together. “It just felt right.” “We were both so excited,” she added. “We were all warmed up and ready to go.”
Lady Gaga and Michael Polanksy have been together since 2020. The singer and the tech entrepreneur met a year earlier through Gaga’s mother, Cynthia Germanotta. At the Super Bowl 2020 they presented themselves to the public as a couple for the first time.
The superstar and the man by her side have been engaged since April of this year. Lady Gaga made this known at the Olympic Games in Paris when she introduced Polansky as her fiancé to then French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal (35).
