Attorney General Waiting for Judge’s Order to Examine Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa

The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) admitted that he was waiting for an order from the judge to summon the Director of Narcotics Crime (Dirtipidnarkoba) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa, in the tin corruption case. Because the Adhyaksa Corps has no authority.

“The person concerned is not present as a witness in the case file, therefore because the person concerned is not in the case file the public prosecutor does not have the authority to summon the person concerned. Unless, because the procedural law also regulates, the judge orders it,” said Head of the Attorney General’s Penkum Harli Siregar at the AGO Building. , South Jakarta, today.

Harli asked all parties to attend the trial and look at the comprehensive facts. He ensured that all information that emerged in the trial would be investigated.

Previously, Mukti Juharsa’s name was mentioned again in the tin corruption trial with the defendant Harvey Moeis, husband of artist Sandra Dewi. One of them was conveyed by the former Head of the Production Unit for the Bangka Belitung region, PT Tima Ali Samsuri. In his testimony, Ali admitted that he was introduced to representatives of PT Timah Harvey Moeis by Mukti Juharsa, who at that time was the Director of Special Crimes (Dirkrimsus) of the Bangka Belitung Regional Police.

Ali only found out about Harvey Moeis after a police official in Bangka Belitung asked him to meet at a restaurant. According to him, the restaurant is located on the edge of Tanjung Tinggi beach.

“When I first came in, I was greeted by the Kasatres who called me and invited me into the room,” he said at the Corruption Court, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 11 2024.

In the dining room, Mukti Juharsa introduced Ali to Harvey Moeis. According to Ali, Mukti Juharsa at that time called Harvey Moeis one of his friends.

“At that time I was introduced to ‘these friends, we are all asking for help’. ‘Ready Commander.’ “I said at that time I answered,” he said.

After being introduced, Harvey at that time told him to calm down and not need to pursue production. Ali admitted that he only answered that he was ready.

“Indeed, my mental condition at that time was not good, because the promise was only to meet Mr Dirkrimsus but it turned out to be busy so I was just making small talk, I appreciated Mr Dirkrimsus and after that I was able to immediately finish the meeting,” he concluded. (P-2)
