Indian superstar Rajinikanth has been admitted to a Chennai hospital in critical condition.
According to Indian reports, the actor was admitted to the hospital after complaining of severe stomach pain. The report states that he will undergo an elective procedure today, October 1.

Rajinikanth’s wife Lata shared a health update with fans after the superstar’s hospitalization in Chennai. In a conversation with Indian media, he said that Rajinikanth’s condition is satisfactory. Additionally, the actor’s elective procedure will take place in a cath lab rather than in an operation theater.

In 2020, Rajinikanth was admitted to a private hospital due to fatigue and fluctuating blood pressure. Later he was discharged and doctors advised rest for a week.
The actor also underwent a kidney transplant in 2016.
It should be noted that Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Vatayan’ is ready for release. The trailer of the film will be released on October 2. Apart from Rajinikanth, the star cast of ‘Vatayan’ includes Amitabh Bachchan, Fahad Fazil.
