Polda Metro Jaya continues to investigate the alleged meeting between KPK Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata and former Head of Yogyakarta Customs and Excise Eko Darmanto, who is now a KPK suspect. Alex was immediately called to investigate the case.
“Yes (Alexander) will later be scheduled by the investigating team of the Tipidkor Sub-Directorate, Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya to invite clarification from the person concerned,” said Dirreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak when confirmed, today.
However, the former Solo Police Chief has not revealed the exact date to summon Alexander. He ensured that he would convey the information when it was scheduled. “We will update later,” he said. .

Previously, Polda Metro Jaya confirmed that Alexander Marwata had been complained about regarding his meeting with Eko Darmanto, who is a suspect in a corruption case at the KPK. Ade Safri explained that the public complaint (dumas) against Alexander was filed on March 23 2024.
“Furthermore, based on this information report, an Investigation Order and assignment order were issued on April 5 2024 and this was renewed/extended on September 9 2024,” Ade told reporters, Friday, September 27 2024.
In fact, this middle-ranking National Police officer said that 17 witnesses had been questioned in this case. According to Ade, the investigation was carried out by the investigation team of the Tipidkor Sub-Directorate, Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya in order to search for and find an incident that was suspected to be a criminal act.
