A woman of Russian nationality died after falling down the stairs of the subway in the city of Tbilisi, Georgia, while recording a video for social networks. The victim, identified as Arina Glazunova, 27 years old, died due to a serious head injury.
Local media reported that Glazunova was on vacation there. Minutes before her death, Ariana was recording with her phone on the street and joking with a friend.
Subsequently, Glazunova took the phone to frame her companion and began to walk backwards, without noticing that behind her was an entrance to the town’s subway.
According to the police report, the woman was very close to the edge when she lost her balance and fell from a considerable height. Passersby in the area called the emergency services so that Glazunova was transferred to the nearest hospital, where she was admitted in critical condition.
The diary The Sun reported that the woman had various lacerations to her head and a fracture to her neck caused by the accident. Medical personnel tried to save her, but she died from multiple injuries.
