Iran launches a massive missile attack on Israel

Iran – The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced, yesterday, Tuesday, that it had carried out a massive attack against Israel with dozens of missiles, in response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, Hassan Nasrallah, and the commander of the Iranian Quds Force in Lebanon, Abbas Nilfaroushan.

The Revolutionary Guard said in a statement yesterday, “In response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, Hassan Nasrallah, and the martyr Nilforoushan, we targeted the heart of the occupied Palestinian territories… Important bases and headquarters in the Zionist entity were targeted with dozens of ballistic missiles.”

The statement added, “If the Zionist entity responds to the Iranian targeting, it will be faced with more violent attacks,” explaining that a wave of strikes had been carried out targeting Israeli security and military sites, the details of which will be announced later.

The Israeli army spokesman reported, “Missiles were launched from their bases in Iran towards Israel.”

He asked the Israelis to be vigilant and act in accordance with the instructions of the Home Front Command.

He continued, “The air defense system is fully operational, and detects and intercepts threats when necessary, even at these moments.”

The missile attack included an Israeli military airport in the Negev, military bases, and cities in all regions.

Hebrew media reported that more than 100 ballistic and cruise missiles were launched towards Israel.

Sources reported on Tuesday evening that sirens sounded in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Dimona and the Negev in Israel.

The expected Iranian attack comes shortly after Israel began its invasion of southern Lebanon on Monday, targeting the positions of the Lebanese factions.
