The pizza restaurant “At the Workshops” by Leini opens the doors to signature street food and rock Men.
On Friday 18 October, the “Alle Officine” pizzeria restaurant in Leini, Strada Fornacino 155, has planned an evening entitled Food’n’Roll, an event that combines the best of street food, with unique proposals to delight even the most demanding palates, and the wild rhythm of the band’s rock’n’roll “Men”, currently under contract with Sony Music after having conquered the audience of the famous talent show XFactor and performed on the stage of Sanremo Giovani. The food stands open at 7pm, the concert starts at 9.30pm with free entry.
It is not the first time that art encounters this production area: last year Officine Morello opened the doors to “Prometeo” by the famous theater company Potenziale Evocati Multimediali. Now it’s the turn of the “Alle Officine” restaurant which over the last two years has developed its own identity thanks to a proposal that is always original and well communicated to the public thanks to the friendliness of the chefs and dining room staff. It’s time for the rock of the Mena band with an energetic and original sound, just like the street food of the Officine. The menu consists of: sandwich with Fassona hamburger, sandwich with Bra sausage with stracciatella and hazelnuts, sandwich with veal with tuna sauce, gnoccotto with cold cuts, mixed morsels. All Piedmontese specialties and rivers of beer, for an unforgettable evening of full flavor and pace. During the event, food and drinks can be ordered and paid for with “Gold Doubloons”which can be purchased at the cost of 1 euro each at the checkout. But there’s no need to worry: at the end of the evening you can return the unused doubloons and change them back into euros. Food’n’Roll it is not just an event, but a lifestyle.

THE BAND “OMINI”
Little men they are Julian Loggia on bass and vocals, Zak Lodge on guitar and choirs and Mattia Fratucelli to the battery. They were born in 2015 as The Minis, making themselves known with this name until 2021.
They played for the first time in 2016 at the Hiroshima Mon Amour in Turin, starting a live activity that would take them to the stages of the biggest Italian festivals, such as Home Festival, Apolide, Siren Festival, Stupinigi Sonik Park and to open for artists of the caliber of Subsonica, Caparezza, Africa Unite, Baustelle, Statuto and Bluebeaters.
On 6 September 2019 their first album was released on Sony Music, ten pieces titled with what is both the battle cry and the first stylistic feature of the group: “Senza Paura”. In 2020 the group finds itself in a transition phase: Julian, Zak and Mattia lock themselves in the rehearsal room to write new songs with a different and renewed sound compared to the first album, with sounds that range from 60s counterculture to indie contemporary rock. The three decide to change their name to Omini, extrapolating the name from the piece which was released in October 2021 as the first single of their second album.
Omini’s latest single is titled 666 (Epic Records Italy/Sony Music) and is accompanied by the official video clip, on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgJWuPcsDRE). The video clip, produced by Lightfis Studio, sees Julian struggling with an internal struggle. In his bedroom he tries to find his identity by continually changing his expression and clothes, impersonating completely different individuals. He tries to recognize himself in the mirror or to find himself by talking to himself, but he only rediscovers himself when he plays and sings with his adventure companions, Zak and Mattia.
Born from the need to talk about oneself freely and without filters, 666written and produced by Omini, is a song with a rock sound that energetically expresses the determined character of the band. Among the many voices that whisper in the ears of the young members of the group there is only one that emerges: the incessant scream of rock’n’roll that transports them into a carefree confusion to the rhythm of “you don’t know who you are anymore” .
