According to Donald Lowe, US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, the US enjoys strong ties with Pakistan under Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s government.
Donald Low, while giving an interview to private TV, expressed hope for Pakistan’s economic recovery and ongoing reforms.
“We are very encouraged by Pakistan’s economic recovery,” Donald Lowe remarked during an interview after his recent meeting with Pakistan’s Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb at World Bank headquarters.
He also highlighted the close relationship between the United States and the people of Pakistan and said that the United States is committed to the country’s success.
He asserted, ‘America wants Pakistan to develop and succeed’.
