Copenhagen: Two explosions outside the Israeli embassy, ​​police investigation continues

Danish police said Wednesday they were investigating two explosions near the Israeli embassy in Copenhagen’s northern suburbs.

Swedish police said on Wednesday that there was a shooting incident near the Israeli embassy in Stockholm on Tuesday, but no injuries were reported and an investigation has been launched.

On the other hand, the US ambassador to Iraq, Elena Romanowski, announced that the diplomatic support complex in Baghdad was ‘attacked’ yesterday, Tuesday, in which no casualties were reported.

“The Diplomatic Support Complex, a US diplomatic facility, was attacked in Baghdad last night,” Romanowski wrote in a post on X.

He further wrote that ‘fortunately there was no loss of life.’

The U.S. has about 2,500 troops in Iraq and 900 in neighboring Syria as part of a coalition formed in 2014 to fight ISIS.

The forces of other countries, especially France and Great Britain, are also included in this alliance.
