Every October 19 is celebrated World Breast Cancer Day at the initiative of the World Health Organization, with the aim of raising awareness and promoting more and more women access to timely and effective controls, diagnoses and treatments.
Within the framework of this date, the Oncology Service of the Hospital and the Donde Quiero Estar Réplica Pinamar Foundation, organize the day «Pinamar in Pink. Let’s talk about breast cancer for him Saturday, October 19, from 3 to 7 p.m., at the Hostería Belvedere (De las Burriquetas 24). It will be an afternoon of talks, music, literature and live painting.
Dr. Verónica Antín, Dr. Damián Tabares, both professionals from the Oncology Service, will give a talk on breast cancer prevention and awareness. Dr. Ignacio García will also participate and will talk about the importance of emotions in the disease.
