This is the new Skoda Elroq, a fully electric compact SUV from Skoda. The range of the model can reach up to 579 kilometers according to the WLTP test standard. And the price? It starts at 34,990 euros. Skoda opens the attack on the Kia EV3 and Volvo EX30 with the Elroq. You can order immediately. The first copies are expected to be delivered in early 2025.
Design Skoda Elroq
The Skoda Elroq is the first Skoda to benefit from the brand’s new Modern Solid design language. Characteristic of this new design language are terms such as robustness, functionality and the glossy black Tech-Deck Face on the front. The latter replaces the traditional grille and has a radar and front camera. The traditional logo on the hood has been omitted. It now says Skoda in full.
The top versions of the Elroq are available with matrix LED headlights, which use 36 individual light segments. At the rear, the C-shaped taillights and illuminated crystal elements stand out. Two versions of the rear light clusters are available, with the top version offering dynamic turn signals and animations when opening the tailgate.
Three versions of Skoda Elroq
In the Netherlands, the Skoda Elroq is available in three versions: Selection, Business Edition and Sportline, with a choice of different powertrains. It starts with the Elroq 50 with 125 kW (170 hp) power, followed by the Elroq 60 with 150 kW (204 hp) power. The Elroq 85 offers 210 kW (286 hp) of power and a range of up to 579 kilometers (WLTP).
Skoda Elroq charged
Thanks to charging speeds of up to 175 kW at DC fast charging stations, the 82 kWh battery of the rear-wheel drive Elroq 85 charges from 10 to 80 percent in less than 28 minutes. The smaller batteries of the Elroq 50 and Elroq 60 charge even faster, in less than 24 minutes.
Sustainable interior
The Elroq is spacious on the inside. The luggage compartment amounts to 470 liters and can be expanded to 1,580 liters with the rear seats folded down. New Design Selections have been developed for the interior. The Elroq also introduces new Simply Clever features, such as smart extra storage compartments with a total capacity of up to 48 liters and a storage net for the charging cable under the parcel shelf. A 13-inch infotainment screen is standard.
