The Innviertler window and door manufacturer Josko, based in Kopfing, is buying near Amstetten: As was announced on Tuesday, Glastech, a producer of insulating glass, will be taken over and integrated into the group alongside its sister companies Josko Fenster&Türen and Eurosun Sonnenschutz. This is intended to integrate a significant part of the value chain into the company, according to a press release. The previous owner of Glastech was Lisec, a machine manufacturer for flat glass processing. There is no information about the purchase price. Gerhard Kasbauer, a member of the Josko management board, will become Glastech’s managing director. Glastech will continue to operate freely on the market and will continue to exist as an independent company.
