Zero Hunger: Business Roundtable in Amambay closes with almost G. 3,000 million in commercial potential

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Vice Ministry of MSMEs indicated that in this new edition of the Business Roundtable held in the department of Amambay, business intentions were generated for a total of G. 2,994 million.

The fair brought together 41 organizations, including microbusinesses and Family Farming producers, of which 12 were MSMEs and 29 from the agricultural sector, according to official data.

In addition to promoting insertion into the Zero Hunger Program, the conference offered key advice to strengthen formalization and access to credit, seeking to enhance the growth of MSMEs and farmers in the region.

This type of conference seeks to bring supply closer to demand, strengthen these sectors and insert them within the Zero Hunger Program, thus promoting compliance with the 5% purchase requirement for micro, small and medium-sized businesses; and 10% to family farming of the contracts awarded.

It is worth mentioning that these Business Roundtables are promoted by the ministries of Social Development, Industry and Commerce, as well as Agriculture and Livestock, seeking to promote the inclusion of these sectors in the school feeding value chain.
