Arsenal – Leicester 2:4

A week after the painful 2:2 they suffered in extra time from Manchester City, this time it was Andrew Trussar and the Gunners who provided the dramatic and sweet moment. Towards the end of a crazy game, it already seemed that the group from North London was on its way to losing points again and missing an opportunity to equal the champion, but two dramatic goals by Wilfried Andidi (E) and Kai Habertz turned the tide.

It looked very promising for the team from North London at the start, they dominated and took the lead within 20 minutes from a goal by Gabriel Martinelli, who also scored the second one for Trosar on the brink of the break, 0:2, what could go wrong? Well, a lot.

The Foxes opened the second half with a goal from nowhere from the head of James Justin (47′), 14 minutes passed and in the face of incessant misses by the host, the defender completed a pair with a spectacular goal and completely erased the Gunners’ two-goal advantage. The team in red tried and tried and ran into a wall in the form of Mads Hermansen in goal, but then came the addition.

Who was the villain last week, with the sending off he received, became the hero this time when Trussard kicked Andidi inside and showed a lot of character for his team four minutes into injury time. Habertz added, and the Gunners, with a balance of 14 points, equaled Manchester City, who stumbled with a 1:1 against Newcastle.

Chelsea – Brighton 2:4

When talking about a perfect individual performance, talk about what Cole Palmer did against the Seagulls. The Englishman became the first player in the history of the Premier League to score a hat-trick in the first half alone and thus made up for the sloppy mistakes made by his team in defense, when he allowed Jorginho Rutter (7′) and Carlos Balba (34′) to score, giving the Blues three points. Enzo Maresca’s team are racing at the top and are third, only one point behind Arsenal and City.
