The sports summer in Ellwangen is coming to an end, but the city is still expecting a sporting highlight. The Baden-Württemberg Baseball and Softball Cup final will take place on October 3rd at the newly converted baseball field on Hungerberg.
30 years of Virngrund Elks
A special event, because the TSV Virngrund Elks have the honor of hosting this final in Ellwangen as part of their 30th club anniversary. The day will be ceremoniously opened by association president Claudio Rodriguez. The softball final between the Stuttgart Reds and the Karlsruhe Cougars starts at 12 p.m., with Ellwangen’s mayor Volker Grab throwing the first pitch.
Baseball final as the highlight
Immediately afterwards, at 2 p.m., comes the baseball final, in which the Gammertingen Royals meet the Ladenburg Romans. Ralf Isermeyer, managing director of VRI GmbH and main sponsor of TSV Ellwangen, will give the first pitch of the second game. The event promises excitement and top sporting performances when the teams fight for the coveted BWBSV trophies. The Ellwangen Elks warmly invite all interested parties and sports enthusiasts to experience these special games live and loudly support the teams. In addition to the sporting program, your physical well-being is of course also well taken care of. There is also a small program for children including a bouncy castle. Entry is free.
