As long as the time period for the submission of applications by the beneficiaries who have priority is completed, the remaining budget until it is used up will be available for the submission of applications by the remaining households.
The total budget will be approximately 170 million euros. The program will concern the recycling of old energy-consuming water heaters and their replacement with solar water heaters. The subsidy rate will be from 60% for vulnerable households to 50% for higher incomes up to 30,000 euros.
The beneficiaries
The income criteria for the subsidy were as follows:
-Under 5,000 euros annual income: the beneficiary falls into the 1st income category. The discount will be 60%.
-5,000 to under 10,000 euros annual income: the beneficiary falls into the 2nd income category. The discount will amount to 55%.
-10,000 euros annual income: the beneficiary falls into the 3rd income category. The discount will be 50%.
Who loses the subsidy?
Those who: are not entitled to the subsidy for water heater replacement.
– Beneficiaries who had submitted an income tax return as foreign residents are not eligible.
-Dependent members who do not submit an autonomous declaration.
– Beneficiaries with an average annual income per family member exceeding 30,000 euros are not eligible.
– It is not possible to submit an application for households that have submitted an application or joined another energy saving program.
The application process
To make your application at allazothermosifona.gov.gr, you must have Taxisnet codes, VAT number and Income Tax Declaration (E1).
In the application you will have to declare the following 4 details again:
– the 11-digit electricity supply number of the house in which the water heater to be replaced is installed,
– that a solar water heater can be installed in his residence and there is no restriction by operating regulations (e.g. apartment building regulations, building operating regulations, etc.),
-the presence or absence of a disabled member in the family, so that cross-checking can be done on a case-by-case basis with information from the Disability Certification Center (KEPA) or alternatively, through the presentation of a corresponding opinion or certificate from a disability certification health committee or other competent authority, which according to the law continues to exercise its powers,
-a unique mobile phone number that will be certified by sending a one-time-use code (OTP), which will be used after any approval of the financing application to send the voucher code, but also for any related communication with the beneficiary. If available, a personal e-mail account can be additionally declared.
