Research costs money
Our small country has no reason to be ashamed of the quality of its cancer research. It is even at the origin of the scientific bases which allowed the development of new approaches in immunotherapy in the treatment of this disease.
However, these still require improvements to make them more effective and less toxic for the patient. And in order to carry out their work, scientists like Sophie need funds. “For researchers, that means more people that we can finance in our laboratories. And therefore also more young researchers, who may have new ideas, extremely interesting development proposals, which in the long term could have positive consequences for patients. »
