DUET Pertamina Enduro VR46 racers, Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio, admitted they were confident ahead of the Mandalika GP at the Mandalika International Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), this weekend.
For Bezzecchi, his good performance and P4 finish at the Emilia-Romagna GP at the Misano International Circuit, Italy, spurred him to maintain an even more solid performance at the home race of his team’s main sponsor.
“We are coming from a very solid weekend at Misano. So, we are ready to fulfill our needs at another home GP this time (in
Indonesia),” said Bezzecchi, quoted from Pertamina Enduro VR46’s statement, Wednesday (25/9).
Meanwhile, for Di Giannantonio, he is ready to move slowly from the pain caused by the shoulder injury he suffered in the Emilia-Romagna GP practice session last week.
However, he admitted that he was confident enough to finish in the top 10 at the Indonesian GP in Mandalika.
“This (Indonesian GP) will be our new home GP! It will be a tough week, but I’m sure the reception will be
really unique,” said the racer who is familiarly called Diggia.

“In Misano, especially in the long distance race, we have been fighting hard. Friday’s crash made everything difficult. Let’s recover energy, get back to work, try to close the gap and regain confidence in the race,” he added.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT Pertamina Lubricants Werry Prayogi said that the two Pertamina Enduro VR46 racers are definitely ready to look forward to the exciting race next weekend.
“This race will be the first year the team competes in Indonesia with its driver duo, namely Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio,” said Werry.
