Flappy Experience is a game that is inspired by the classic Flappy Birdlaunched a decade ago for cell phones and tablets, but which uses the most diverse features of the Apple Vision Pro to give a new look to the game.
Developed by Speech Kol through RealityKitthe “spiritual sequence” of Flappy Bird requires the player to move their arms up and down, imitating a bird, to jump over obstacles in the game, which is divided into four difficulty levels. Flappy Experience arrives at a delicate moment for the classic 2013 game, which saw another reboot somewhat controversial to be announced recently after the original game was removed from app stores in 2014 by its creator, Dong Nguyen — who did not approve the new version, it must be said.
O reboot would have been built by The Flappy Bird Foundation on top of a blockchain (something that was not communicated by its developers) after the “Flappy Bird” brand was acquired by Gametech after being abandoned by Nguyen. The developer was heavily criticized for introducing cryptocurrencies to the game and not crediting the creator of the 2013 game.
Completely free, Flappy Experience is now available available for download from the visionOS App Store. It requires visionOS 1.2 or higher to work.
