IHGMA (Indonesian Hotel General Manager Association) has held the IV IHGMA DPD Jakarta Regional Congress 2024 on Thursday, September 26 2024, at the Ra Suites Hotel Simatupang Jakarta. This event was attended by General Managers of hotels in Jakarta with the theme “Competent Leadership for Tourism Development in Jakarta as a Global City.”
The IV IHGMA DPD Regional Congress began with a workshop which presented Mr. Angkoso B. Soekadari, M.Par., CHA, CHE as Founder and Advisory Board of the IHGMA DPP and COO of Ra Hospitality, and Mr. Eduard Rudolf Pangkerego, M.Par., DPP Advisory Board IHGMA and COO Artotel Group. This event was moderated by Mr. Achmad Ridwan Deskana, SE, AK, MM, CHA.
After the workshop, the event continued with a limited Plenary Session led by the Chair of the Session and attended by all members of IHGMA DPD Jakarta. This trial began with an accountability report from Plt. Chairperson, Lisa Sanjoyo, followed by a presentation of the vision and mission of the candidate for Chair of IHGMA DPD Jakarta for the 2024–2027 period as well as the hybrid election of Chairperson. The results of the vote count determined Mrs. Amanda Irawan, General Manager of Ra Premiere Simatupang, as Chair of IHGMA DPD Jakarta for the 2024–2027 period.
IHGMA DPD Jakarta is committed to expanding cooperation with educational institutions to create quality and globally competitive tourism human resources. This program will be supported by hotel General Managers who are members of IHGMA DPD Jakarta. In addition, IHGMA DPD Jakarta regularly holds meetings with tourism industry players to facilitate sustainable innovation through the exchange of ideas, experiences and knowledge. The organization also seeks to build a strong collaborative network between hotels, travel agents, tour operators and other related parties. (Adv)
