Zuckerberg’s wealth exceeds $200 billion, ranking him the fourth richest man in the world

According to Bloomberg, this comes after Meta’s shares rose by 60% since the beginning of the year, which contributed to a six-fold increase in his wealth in two years to reach $201 billion.

Zuckerberg has now moved to fourth place on the list of the 500 richest people in the world, behind businessmen Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Bernard Arnault.

Among the reasons for the growth of Ark’s wealth are the major changes that the “Meta” company has undergone, including changing its name and announcing large investments in the “Metaverse.”

It also has an effective presence in the video clips feature, which made analysts confirm that the shift from “Facebook” to “Meta” has begun to bear fruit, as the company is betting heavily on “Orion” augmented reality glasses, according to what was reported on the “asharqbusiness” website.

The American newspaper “Washington Post” reported earlier, citing anonymous complaints from employees, that a “morale” crisis had erupted at the “Meta” company, indicating an escalating wave of mistrust in its founder, Mark Zuckerberg.

An article published by the newspaper indicated that Mark Zuckerberg was forced to announce cost cuts by reducing the number of jobs in an attempt to make the company adapt to changing economic conditions.

The newspaper recalled that last March, the media reported a “dead” intention to lay off 10,000 of its employees. As for Zuckerberg, he announced that about 5,000 additional vacant jobs will be closed.

Meta announced the launch of the new artificial intelligence model Llama 3.2, which gives its users excellent capabilities in processing various types of data.
