A Xiaomi announced that three of its newest smartphones will receive support and updates for five years, starting in September 2024 until September 2029. Among them are the new Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro and the foldable Mix Flip. All have Android 14 and HyperOS 1.0 since launch, and should reach end of support with Android 18 or Android 19, running HyperOS 6 or HyperOS 7, respectively.

The update policies introduced by Xiaomi after 2021 appear to have resolved previous issues related to the duration of updates. The company had previously offered five years of update support for the Xiaomi 13T series.
The new ones Xiaomi 14T and the Xiaomi 14T Pro were launched last week bringing innovations that promise to impress users. Presented as global versions of the well-known Chinese models Redmi K70E and Redmi K70 Ultra, both are equipped with cameras manufactured in partnership with the renowned Leicaknown for its excellence in photography.
Already the Mix Flip is the company’s newest foldable to compete with Samsung and Motorola, which are consolidating themselves in this type of market. The Xiaomi model has several highlights, such as its largest display, which is 4.01 inches, compared to the Galaxy Z Fold6, which is 3.4 inches, and the Razr 50 Ultra, which is just 4.
