Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Head of Maulana Fazlur Rehman Possible on Sunday Constitutional amendment has said that ‘It is unfair to make such a big constitutional amendment with this fake parliament.’
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, speaking at a news conference after the party elections of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam in Peshawar, said that ‘when you bring constitutional amendments, legislate, you also submerge fundamental rights.’
Maulana Fazlur Rehman added that ‘People’s Party and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam have also discussed, they are also preparing a draft and we will also share it with each other.
“PTI is also preparing a draft and so are we, and they will share it together.
“In this way, we would like a consensus amendment so that it does not become a source of political turmoil in the country but a source of reform.”
He said that he was ‘shared with the government draft which was rejected after seeing it and said it is not acceptable.’

Regarding the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, he said that our province is currently burning.

In the party elections of Jamiat Ulama, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been elected unopposed as Ameer and Ghafoor Hydari as General Secretary for the next five years.
