Trudy and the Romance were a band formed by Chesterfield musician Oliver Taylor.
It’s been almost 10 years since they first appeared on the scene, but these guys keep entertaining us with music that embraces the concept of “Mutant 50’s Pop.”
When I listen now to the early Trudy-era “All My Love” and the hit “Is There A Place I Can Go,” I feel like they have a little more seasoning, or rather, they’ve solidified the concept so that Not anymore. This upcoming album will lean more toward Americana or country music.
