Mag. Christopher Müller (38), a recognized transport and logistics expert, will join the traditional Vienna Neudorf company Müller Transporte as a partner and co-managing director on January 1, 2025.
Founded as a family business in 1959, Müller Transporte is now one of the leading transport companies and logistics providers in Austria with over 700 employees. Christopher Müller is now the third generation of the Müller family to join the management and also as a partner in the company. His father, Peter Müller, ran the company together with long-term managing director Fritz Müller until 2016.
Christopher Müller studied law at the University of Vienna with a focus on business and tax law. He started his career in the family business, to which he is now returning. In keeping with family tradition, he also worked as a truck driver and dispatcher at Müller Transporte.
Most recently, Christopher Müller worked in various senior management positions at international logistics companies at home and abroad for almost 15 years. Most recently, as CEO of a German logistics company, he was responsible for the European contract logistics area.
Christopher Müller: “It is a special feeling when, after so many years, you return to the company that you grew up with in your childhood and in your family. The transport industry and the international logistics industry have shaped my entire professional life. I was lucky enough to be able to work and learn in great organizations. Now I will happily bring the management and industry experience that I have gained over the last 15 years to Müller Transporte.”
The Perchtoldsdorfer (Mödling/Lower Austria) is married and has two children. From January 1, 2025, together with Fritz Müller, he will take over the role of co-CEO of the family-run company, which has been majority owned by the European infrastructure fund “Cube Infrastructure” since 2022.
