4 soldiers were injured by Hezbollah explosives on the border with Lebanon

Hezbollah announced today that it set off “explosive devices” as Israeli soldiers crossed the border into Lebanon.

The Israel announced the wounding of four of its soldiers near the border with Lebanon by an explosion of unknown origin.

Hezbollah fighters “planted explosive devices in the Tal Ismail area, near the Israeli border, which exploded after Israeli soldiers crossed the border,” Hezbollah said in a statement.

For its part, the Israeli army announced that 4 of its soldiers “who were in an area on the northern border” were injured during the night, one of them seriously, “after an explosion of unknown origin”. The others have light to moderate injuries, he said.

According to protothema, the Israeli military has not confirmed that its soldiers crossed the border into Lebanon.

Asked by AFP, the Israeli military declined to elaborate, limiting itself to stating that “an investigation is underway.” According to dpa, the Israeli army added that the other three soldiers suffered minor to moderate injuries and noted that the cause of the overnight explosion was still being investigated.
