Daniel Ricciardo’s fate in F1 has been decided, Red Bull announced!

According to press information, already during the summer break there was a serious chance that Sergio Perez and/or Daniel Ricciardo would say goodbye to Red Bull or the RB team, but both could have stayed at that time. However, on Thursday afternoon, Red Bull thanked the Australian driver for his contribution in a social media post.

Ricciardo was sacked by McLaren at the end of 2022 and replaced by another Australian, Oscar Piastri, but the eight-time race winner still remained without a seat for only half a year: at the 2023 Hungarian Grand Prix, Ricciardo took De Vries’ place.

He suffered a broken wrist at the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix, which forced him to miss several races, during which time he was replaced by Liam Lawson, performing quite well. The 35-year-old driver then returned to RB at the end of the 2023 season and had the opportunity to participate in a total of 25 Grands Prix, scoring 18 points, and his best result was sixth place at last year’s Mexican Grand Prix.

Meanwhile the team bosses don’t like Verstappen’s punishment eitherwhile Leclerc told how they threw everything in the bin during qualifying.
