Vikings continue to extend winning streak in the NFL

Green Bay – Despite a weak second half and an almost inexplicable slump, the Minnesota Vikings celebrated their fourth win in the fourth game of the season in the NFL. In the guest game against division rivals Green Bay Packers, the Vikings won 31:29. Shortly before the end of the first half, quarterback Sam Darnold’s team had already led 28-0, but almost lost this lead.

Darnold initially continued his strong performances from the first games of the season and threw three touchdown passes. In the second half, however, the mistakes increased, allowing the Packers to find their way back into the game.

On the host side, playmaker Jordan Love celebrated his return from injury; after a mixed start, the 25-year-old showed a strong performance, especially in the second half. Love finished the game with four touchdowns, and two bad passes came in the first half. His third so-called interception made the preliminary decision.

First loss for Steelers

Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers suffered their first defeat of the current season. The team around quarterback Justin Fields lost to the Indianapolis Colts 24:27. Fields threw a pass into the end zone and ran for two touchdowns himself.

The hosts, for their part, had to make do early on without their regular quarterback Anthony Richardson, who left the game with a hip injury. He was replaced by veteran Joe Flacco, who threw two touchdowns and led the Colts to their second win of the season.

Liberation for Bengals – setback for Jets

The previously winless Cincinnati Bengals landed a liberating blow. After three defeats in a row at the start of the season, playmaker Joe Burrow’s team won 34:24 at the Carolina Panthers. The highlight of the game was a 63-yard touchdown by Bengals pass receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

Meanwhile, the New York Jets, led by four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers, suffered a serious setback. The playoff contender lost 9:10 at home to the Denver Broncos after a defensive game. Kicker Greg Zuerlein missed a field goal with seconds left to give New York a possible win.
