105 martyrs and 359 wounded in a bloody day

The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health announced, in a statement today, that the intense Israeli raids that targeted several areas in southern Lebanon, the Bekaa, Baalbek-Hermel, and the southern suburb of Beirut during the past 24 hours, resulted in the death of 105 people and the wounding of 359 others.

Raid details:

– Ain al-Delb: The death toll from the raids rose to 32 martyrs and 53 wounded.

– Bint Jbeil District: Raids on several towns resulted in the death of 5 people and the wounding of 10, distributed among Aita Al-Shaab (3 martyrs), Al-Sawwanah (2 martyrs), Kafra (5 wounded), Bani Hayyan (1 wounded), Tibnin (2 wounded), Chakra (two wounds).

– Tyre District: 16 people were martyred and 115 injured, with the toll distributed between Tyre and its suburbs (15 martyrs and 97 wounded) and the town of Qana (one martyr and 18 wounded). Qana Governmental Hospital was also severely damaged.

– Al-Ghobeiry: The raid on the town led to the death of 3 people and the injury of 2 others.

– Baalbek-Hermel: 33 people were martyred and 97 others were injured as a result of raids on towns and villages in the governorate.

– Bekaa: 9 people were martyred and 42 injured in successive raids.

– Marjayoun and Nabatieh Districts: Raids on these two districts resulted in the death of 7 people and the wounding of 40 others.

These raids caused widespread damage to infrastructure and health facilities in the targeted areas, causing severe damage to hospitals and homes, while rescue efforts continue amid extremely difficult conditions.
