Asunción, IP Agency.- The government, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, provided contributions and agricultural implements to producers in the first department, with an investment of Gs. 629,132,505.
It was during an event chaired by the head of the agricultural portfolio, Carlos Giménez, in the district of Belén.
The contributions delivered consisted of: 1 99 HP agricultural tractor from the New Holland brand, 1 5-row seeder from the Baldan brand, 1 600 liter sprayer from the Incomagri brand and 1 seed and fertilizer spreader from the JF brand.
Minister Giménez assured that his presence in the area is to accompany a department that was forgotten for a long time and that has a lot of potential, with producers who want to work and get ahead.
He maintained that the government wants to reach those who need it most and highlighted that the department produces good quality onions.
Likewise, he highlighted the great opportunity to sell all farm products in the field within the framework of the School Feeding Program, in addition to urging farmers to produce. At this point, he stated that the government of Paraguay has intensified the fight against smuggling and takes care of national production, with the aim of ensuring that national products are sold at a good price.
Cooperation agreement with the commune of Belén
Likewise, within the framework of the day in Concepción, the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the Municipality of Belén, to strengthen the productive sector.
