New edition of Olympics for agricultural schools in Paraguay announced

Asunción, IP Agency.-The 12th edition of the event will be held from October 1 to 3 at the agricultural school in the city of Minga Guazú in Alto Paraná.

The Olympics of agricultural and agromechanical schools will bring together about 1,200 young people, men and women, representatives of different educational institutions that provide agricultural technical education of MAG Management, Government and Subsidized Private, coming from different parts of the country.

Its objective is to “Integrate the educational community of the country’s Agrarian Education System, demonstrating respect, responsibility, a spirit of solidarity among students, teachers, judges and spectators and that in turn stimulates the desire for success in a framework of healthy competition and “It contributes to the physical, psychological and social well-being of young people,” explains a report from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.

In addition, it seeks to become a space where members of the educational community will experience, understand and value the celebration of sport, in turn bringing them closer to sporting values, linked to both healthy living and the coexistence of a democratic and supportive society.

Competitions will be developed in the disciplines of Volleyball, Field Soccer, FIFA Futsal, Handball and Athletics.

Organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, through the Directorate of Agrarian Education (DEA).
